| All I can say at the moment is... don't open this. Let it lie.
There are profound flavors in abundance here, but there is a wall of astringent tannins that lowers the enjoyment greatly. Tobacco, plum, pomegranate, blueberries, dusty cocoa, along with a hint of green fruit (which really surprised me).
The 2000 Reignac was a stunning wine. I'm not certain this will live up to that benchmark; it is very difficult to say what will happen when the tannins resolve. However, based on the level of tannins I'd give this 4 years before even considering it. And that is from someone that likes 'em young
Retasting as I write this, I cannot say for sure if there is some green fruit or just a boat load of tannin. Ask me again in 10 years.
