from the BAWE 1yr anniversary tasting, June 1st 2003
Some people were getting stink on the nose of this one, I primarily got huge chocolate notes. A little thin in the mid-palate, but still overall rich and fulll, with notes of blueberries. Rich ripe tannins and a medium finish, 89 points, drink now-2008.

I thought this wine really improved the 2nd hour. The nose certainly changed dramatically. Paid $11.99 (Beverages and More futures) and I'm glad I got 2 cases.

My notes from a couple months ago...I probably overrated it, but I did like it a good bit.
