Had with a porterhouse at 'Twist', the restaurant in the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
Medium garnet, nice tobacco and pencil lead notes with some cedar on the fairly fragrant nose. Just medium bodied with nice cherry fruits and earthiness on the tongue, some nicely integrated tannins stain a medium finish. A nice approachable off-vintage Bordeaux that can be enjoyed now or held probably another 5 years. Fruit isn't there to take much beyond that though. 88 points.
