2002 Vieux Chateau St. Andre Montagne - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion (6/14/2007)
WIML89?,PURPLE89,NOWA,NOWS

Tasted June 14, 2007. Opened and decanted about 30 minutes before serving. Dusty rose color in the glass, slightly opaque looking. Nose had a tiny bit of “funk” upon opening. Aromas of dark berries, plums, rose petals and saddle soap. Really tight palate showing a little red berries and red cherries with some bitters on the finish. Light to medium acidity, firm tannins, medium body. I’d recommend holding for a year or two before trying again. (89 pts.)
