| | Double decanted to shake off some sediment. A startlingly rich
nose of fruit on opening this, with some musty mushroom undercurrents,
but this wine is completely, utterly shut down right now. The palate is
moderate tannin and nothing else whatsoever. Recorked, will try this
one again after a night in the cellar to see if it's giving anything
up, but this was undrinkable for the evening, anyway. | | | |
