| - 2005 Château Haut-Cabroles - France, Bordeaux, Bordeaux Contrôlée (4/5/2007)
Tasted at a retail tasting. A poor man's Bordeaux, and at $7 a bottle, an excellent value. Nose of black raspberry, cocoa, graphite, and earth. On the palate, dark cherry, cassis, tobacco, and cedar. Shows the strength of the vintage, but nothing special. (86 pts.)
