I couldn't pull the cork fully, it disintegrated in the bottle. Had to decant and what a wine this was! Fully resolved tannins, but still plenty of life left in the wine. Pleasure to drink and look at. I'll try to pick up more from Chambers Street Wine while we visit NYC next week.

We had another bottle yesterday, no shipping, hand picked from New York store.
The cork was in even worse condition, the wine was in the better shape than the first bottle:
Ruby red color with no sign of bricking, pencil lead nose, fully integrated tannins. I'd buy it again and again and again.
