| After reading some recent good notes on 1995 Right Bank wines, I decided that it was time to check on this Pomerol again after my last good experience about 3 years ago.
The nose was especially expressive with scents of Christmas spice, violet, earth, plums, prune, toast and cedar. Very nice.
The flavors included cedar, tea, earth and dark fruits along with softening tannins and medium body. I will start to open the remaining bottles in another 2 years as this bottle is still mostly primary now. 91 points. | | | |
