Incredible. Austere but lovely. It is hard for me to describe exactly why I love Haut-Brion, but I does. Medium plus bodied with dark red berries and red clay and a hint of brown spice. Fine tannins. I wonder if this is what the ’75 was like young? Ultimately, this will be my favorite wine of the night, but it wasn’t there yet. 94(+)
I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

Thanks for the TNs on this. Though I don't drink much French Wine, I do enjoy the occassional Haut Brion, Mouton, Lafite, Latour and Margaux.
