$179CAD

Dark ruby to rim. Beautiful nose of blackcurrant, smoke, tobacco leaf, grilled meat and bramble. Nice thin, slow legs. Full bodied with some bite. Nice tannin but little fruit right now, it’s hiding behind the oak. Long, lingering finish. Should come around with time. 90 points.

Hey Futronic - How much of this did you buy? Just curious - want to know how much cellar time you plan to give the next bottle. I'm still confused about French wines.

LW,

I didn't buy any of it. Not at $180CAD a bottle. This was one of the wines I tasted at the quarterly LCBO Classics Catalogue tasting on Tuesday. I decided to tone things down this time and only got to 24 wines, many of which were disappointing.

Back to your question ... I think another person - one with more Bordeaux experience than I - would be better to answer your question.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
