Had this Pomerol for the 2nd time last night and the prodominant flavor was of spiced cherry tarts within a sexy blanket of rose petals. The tannins are abrupt but not harsh. This is a blend of 80% merlot and 20% cab franc. It is not your traditional Pomerol, and while this wine was partially shut down it is a very well made wine. Open again in 2 years. 91pts with room for improvement down the road.
