Generously left for Brent Null, Ttepper, and I by Pyang when we were visiting Del Dotto last week. Decanted for an hour when first tasted. Huge nose of saddle leather and tobacco, if you like stink this is it ! Big and plump on the tongue with good primal fruits, a touch sour at this point though, showing through from the git-go. Only moderately tannic, but I should qualify that with we had been barrel tasting the monster Cal '01s at David Arthur and Del Dotto, so suffice it to say I may have been a little tannin desensitized by the time we got to this guy. I really enjoyed this a lot and was surprised at how forward it was at this point. It was no where near as tight as the Sarget I had a couple months ago. I've got 6 I bought on futures, but I sure would load up on this should I get the Costco $36 jackpot. I hope Brent and Ttepper chime in here and let us know how the wine fared later. I think Parkers rating is right on, 94+.
