Tasted April 29, 2006 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. 84% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Semillon. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of lemon, tropical fruits, citronella, honeysuckle and grapefruit. Flavors of Florida pink grapefruit, lemongrass and a touch of dried apricot. Lighter style sauvignon blanc, quite a little quaffer for the money. Drink in 2006. At the $7.99 a bottle I’d paid I’d say the value is recommended.

Note: this wine really shines when served with goat cheese such as a goat cheese salad we paired it with. Amazingly well in my opinion. It also works well with lighter seafood dishes. (88 pts.)
