Tasted April 23, 2006 at Winetexs’ home in Austin, TX. Opened and decanted then double decanted back into the bottle for serving about 30 minutes before serving in a Riedel (I believe) Cabernet glass provided by Winetex. Plum color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of dill, red cherries and white pepper. Simplistic flavors of red cherry, bitters and just flat out a little flat on the palate. It must be shut down still. I’d recommend holding for two more years to see if she perks up a bit. If you can pick this up in the mid-20s per bottle then I’d say the value is acceptable at that price point. (88 pts.)

I didn't like this wine when opened. It was thin, simple and really not worth the calories. The wine was closed up and then tasted it the next day. It was actually better the next day but still fairly average. At least it wasn't expensive. (86 pts.)
