Still too soon. Not as forbiddingly tannicas the Clerc Milon, but still very closed. Plenty of weight front to back, with solid cassis and plum fruit coming out after air time, but no secondary development. This needs another 5 years in the cellar. Better balance than the Clerc Milon.

Dave, I had the same experience last year, but he tannins were fierce. On day 2 it showed better promise.

Unfortunately the group polished off the Lynch. I was able to take the Clerc MIlon home, and last night it was much more civilized. Good omen.
