1998 Peby Faugeres - St. Emilion

1st bottle was corked so another was opended and was decanted for about 30-40 minutes before consuming over the following 2.5 hours. Dark black purple coloration and full bodied. Sweet floral, black cherry, blueberries and cream, and graphite. A great mid palate with gobs of fruit which leads to a well proportioned finish. Slightly fat, but another 2-3 years and this wine should be outstanding. 94+ points.
