This is the BEST Bordeaux Superieur red I have ever had. This is a combination of old world and new world winemaking. The wine is predominantly merlot with a touch of cab franc.

It exudes dark jammy sweet tannin laced fruit with a touch of earth and spice that accentuates every lipsmaking taste bud on the tongue and backpalate. In several respects it is almost syrah like. Boy would I like to discover how the french get merlot to taste like this. This wine is a short term ager and is drinking quite well now. 90+ points. I am going to try and find some of the Bdx Superieur from the '00 vintage. Anyone have any extra they want to sell?
