Had this on 3/29/03 at the VC Rocks at Equinox event.

My tasting notes started to falter at this wine (hey it was my 8th of the night), but here goes--

I wrote down that I thought this was definitely a Bordeaux, so I got that right at least. This had loads of nice fruit, but it had very interesting toffee & toffee notes along with a peculiar (but good) chalkiness to it. Really nice finish.
