2001 Reignac - France, Bordeaux,

In an age where really good sub 20$ french wine is becoming a thing of distant memory, this bordeaux shines. dark black juice with nice upfront aroma's of dark roasted coffee mellowing into mocha cappuccino, well intergrated oak with a sweet vanilla finish, smooth fine grained tannis, yet the friut really shines through. just plain yummy! this kick a$$ QPR should really mellow, intergrate and be drinking great for years to come, that is if i can keep your hands off it before then. 17.99 at costco, 24.99 everywhere else.

this is a great wine for the money. much better than the 00 at this point but i think the 00 is going to surpass the 01 someday.

just had my 2nd bottle and this one was not as good. still a great wine for the money. 89 pts
