A personal favorite...when they get it right.

A nice ruby/garnet color with a thin clear edge to the disc-no bricking yet. A nose full of sweet stewed plums, cherries, some spice, and a hint of charcoal. The palate is smooth with a bit of tannin holding into the finish. Plenty of elegant plum and spice on the seamless palate. Great balance and charm. Fully mature and ready to go.
