Opaque garnet colour with pink rim. Aromas of truffles, beef's blood, earth, and cherry. Medium-bodied with replays from nose. Still present tannins. Moderate finish, 25-30s, with earthy notes. A stemminess developed on the nose as the beef's blood dissipated. 87 points (02/19/2005).
