The opening wine while we mingled and munched on appetizers.

This wine is a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Semillon. Retail price approx. $10.

This was a nice white to start the evening and prime the palate. There is nothing earth shattering here, but nice lively acidity and clean, crisp fruit. The Semillon cuts down the harshness of the green grass flavors I often associate with SB. This would be a fun, easy summertime quaffer, which should pair well with food.
