| This is a bordeaux superieur table wine. Cost is $15. Wine open with a galass removed for 1 hour prior to tasting. Consumed from Riedel Vinum Burgundy stem (my Bord stems are all packed away).
Wine is a deep, clear red-purple with a solid core that holds its color well to the rim. One the nose, red frutis and cinnamon dominate. Meduim in body and suprisingly fruit forward with nice flavors of black cherry, cedar and spices. If I were to taste this wine blind, I might think it was New World. Well balanced. I liked this wine and might buy some more for those nigjhts when you make a quick steak and need something sturdy to enjoy it with. An everyday quaffer that is tasty. | | | |
