Tasted at Steve Rigicish's Bordeaux Party, 4/24/04

Here is a real winner from an estate I have never heard of before. The color is a dark, saturated purple, and the nose is very new world like, offering up plenty of ripe plum and spice (anise and clove). Rich and full bodied, with prominent tannins that are ripe and balanced, finishing medium long. Certainly a standout from the typical Bordeaux profile, 90+ points, give this several more years for the tannins to resolve a bit.
