Pomerol 12.5%

Color is a nicely dark ruby red but is showing some slight signs of age.
Sweet cherry and blackberry nose, fairly muted but noticeable.
Entry to the palate is fairly bright with rasberry notes on top of dark cherry and blackberry.with a final layer of wet earth and spice. There's a lot of silky tannin that dry the mouth out. This is verging on excellent, and given another couple years the complexities will hopefully come out a bit more.
