Bottle has been in my cellar 3 years, so I assume its age to be approximately 5 years old. Color was surprisingly an almost amber yellow with a bouquet of rose petal, pear, and peach. Mouthfeel was medium, with light acidity, smooth light oaky summer peach and starfruit, and a decent pleasant finish. These grapes are grown in one of the world's highest vineyards in the Rocky mountains, overlooking the Snake River. Unlike some of their recent vintage chardonnays which have seemed dominantly overoaked to the point of suspicion of oak extract additives, this wine gives a gentle oaken backdrop that enhances the flavor rather than dominating it. 86.
