An absolutely stunning color for a Rosé, a beautiful very dark clear red – more like a light Claret (no calling this wine “pink”!). Aromas of sweet cherries and strawberries overwhelmingly dominate the nose, while the extremely dry palate offers refreshing acidity and some surprisingly notable tannin. Sweet fruit continues through to the refreshing medium-short finish, while the tannins are just a bit drying - this is a Rosé that might just convince doubters to take this class of wine seriously. 88 points, drink over the next two years.
