This tiny vineyard in Pennsylvania has been operant for 3 years. It is difficult to find good unoaked chardonnay and I do not like Kim Crawford's version.

A nice yellow, a little on the gold side, with good viscosity. A nose of acidic yellow fruit, followed by a smooth palatal hit of light pineapple, apple and pear. A surprisingly decent lengthed finish, all pleasant. And not a hint of oak! 87.

I tasted the same vineyard's oaked chard and it was highly acidic and relatively fruit deficient, definitely inferior to the unoaked wine.
