A gift from a friend ("so you can't dis Colorado wines without ever having tasted one").

VERY light in color. A somewhat classic Sangiovese nose, but difficult to pick up. On the palate, thin and short. A mineral quality on the finish I normally associate with Spanish wines. 79pts. We'll cook with the remainder.

Next time you get a gift from a friend...make sure it's a CO Reisling. Red wines typically suck from CO, but I think our Reislings are actually pretty good.
