A friend at work was raving about this, and knowing I was a wine nut insisted on bring me a bottle. The nose is actually promising, showing a fairly classic Cab profile with a slightly vegetal streak. On the palate is where everything goes horribly wrong however, the wine has harsh bitter tannins that overwhelm on make you want to spit and rinse asap. Blech.

Cabernet is not a varietal that should be grown in Texas.

Cabernet is a varietal that should not be grown outside of the Napa Valley (at least here in the US) except for this one slope in Cupertino, California.
