| We visited this winery 16 days ago. The wines:
2004 Unoaked Chardonnay, 13% alcohol, $11- Tropical fruit noise. Harsh. 80
2004 Pinot Grigio Reserve, 12.5% alcohol, $16- Muted light fruit nose. Light pear flavor. Blah. If this is the Reserve, I shuddeer to think what the reguilar bottling tastes like. 76
2003 Riesling Reserve, 12.4% alcohol, $16- Nose of citrus and apples. Crisp mineral finish. 80
2003 Blanc de Blanc, 7.5% alcohol, $9- Perumed Gewurtztraminer nose. Fruit soda. 73
2003 Baco Noir Reserve, 13% alcohol, $20- A little barnyard nose. Yech. This is the Reserve? 68
2002 Pinot Noir Reserve, 13% alcohol, $25- Berry pie nose. Yag! 68
2004 Vidal Icewine, 10.5% alcohol, 200 ml $20- Raisin nose. Honey on the palate. Cloying. 87
2002 Gewurtztraminer Icewine, 10.5% alcohol, $60- Vidal nose. Cloying. 88
2003 Riesling Icewine, 12% alcohol, $50- Apple nose. Sweet. lacking sufficient balancing acidity. 88
2002 Cabernet Franc Icewine, 12.5% alcohol, $65- Medicinal/cherry nose. Lacking sufficient balancing acidity. 88
