This was the first wine I've tasted from Colorado. It had a muted nose of grapefruit, very like a New Zealand SB with a bit less amplitude. Wow, did this nose ever promise more than the wine delivered! Vegetal, flat, flawed. Dumped it. 68

Nah, not flawed. Probably just the terroir speaking to you in a language you don't understand. Don't worry, as your palate becomes more sophisticated, you will learn to appreciate the terroir and subtle nuances of Colorado's number two beverage. Mike
