| I ran across this unposted TN. I drank this wine back in October 2004 at the Oyster Festival in Leonardtown, MD. I just went looking for their website, and so it might actually be 'Cove Point Winery', instead. Doesn't matter, read on....
Cabin Creek Winery (I think) Cabernet Sauvignon (No vintage given, a MD winery)
I must say this was some of the foulest wine I have ever tasted. Nobody in Maryland should even try to make Cabernet, IMO, but, of those that are trying, I must say that this is one of the more horrid examples/attempts. OMG this stuff was lousy. It reminded me of bad Welch’s grape juice mixed up with charcoal briquettes that had been partially inundated with lighter fluid and only partially burned off. There is nothing else to say other than I would rather have bought an oyster shooter at the stand next to this one. I was glad I had some Lance’s crackers in my pocket from the Oysters I had already slurped down so I could recover my taste buds from the brink of calamity.

| | LMFAO! I think I drove past this winery on Saturday! Shocked the [censored] out of me just to see that there was even a winery in Calvert County, much less one at Cove Point. I guess the nulcear plant close by didn't help the flavors out much.... | | | |

| Let me tell you, dude, radioactivity could only help this wine. I think I scored this too generously. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| | I've never even had a wine from East of the California/Nevada border, I can only imagine how awful this stuff must have tasted. |
