Tasted at the October, 2004 BAWE "Central Coast Rhone" Tasting"....

Floral and refreshing, with hints of strawberries, this wine offers up plenty of ripe sweet fruit on a clean fresh frame. Exactly what I look for in a Rosé, 89 points.

We brought a few of these back from our trip, as the Roses are really enjoyable in Florida weather. They are priced a little high, and we probably would have opted for one less of these and one more of Garretson's if we had tasted them in reverse order (we went to Tablas Creek before Garretson).

This was my brief note from the tasting room: "2003 Rose - mourvedre based. A fruity but dry rose. An excellent Florida BBQ or patio wine. we purchased a couple of these."
