Decanted for one hour, very cloudy red with an almost brownish tinge. Nose exhibits nice typical Pinot character with cranberry, cherry, and hints of chocolate. Elegant style, young and vibrant on the palate, an almost spritzy acidity with wonderful sweet fruit and a hint of caramel(?). Very young now, needs some time to integrate, but will a nice, if not a blockbuster, pinot. 89 points, drink 2004-2006. | | | 2008: the end of an error |
