| 1998 Maresh Willamette Valley, Chardonnay
Straw gold in color. On the nose there is pleasant citrus, lemon peel and butterscotch. Very aromatic. On the palate are complex flavors of melon, tropical fruit and creamy vanilla. The finish is has lingering flavors of vanilla, bright acidity and even more melon. The nicest Oregon Chardonnay I’ve had in some time. Tasted on the Maresh Family Farm. 91points | | | |
