Tasted last night at Dinner w/Doc at Olivetto:

I had no idea the Walla Walla Appellation extended into Oregon, which according to Eric L. is where these vineyards are located. A very distinctive nose that I’ve come to identify with Pacific Northwest Syrahs that I’ll call juniper berries (for lack of a more accurate descriptor). Bright hi-toned and dense fruit is deftly balanced with zippy acidity and fine, nicely integrated ripe rich tannins. A delicious mouth full of a wine offering nice complexity and a long finish. 92 points, drink 2005-2009.
