Clear medium garnet
Bright cherry and spices, with a little oak in the nose.
Moderately concentrated cherries and spices with a little violet on the palate. Good structure and length. A little on the lean side.

I tried this as a comparison of Abbey Ridge wines leading up to trying the Ken Wright version (which was trashed on the WS site a couple weeks ago) tonight or tomorrow. Picked it up for $27. A nice wine and from what I can tell so far, true to the vineyard. 88 points.
