I pulled this out to try with the Ken Wright.

Dark garnet color, with black cherry and blackberries in the nose.

Relatively straightforward, but intense and rich cherry and blackberry flavors that build through the midpalate and culminate in a nice long finish. Good structure. Probably a good wine for those that find many Oregon Pinots to be too sharp.

A very nice concentrated wine, but not thrilling. 90 points. Drink over the next couple of years.

It looks like this wine has really benefited from extended bottle age. The basics are still the same, but several layers have been added. In the nose, both a hint of earthiness and kind of a cinnamon/allspice aroma. On the palate, the same spicy flavors are there, along with a little blueberry and the earth. This wine lingers for a long time. The best Pinot Noir I've had in a year. 94 points.
