Medium gold color. Very aromatic sweet orange, fig, vanilla, fennell, and graham in the nose. Concentrated fig and baked apples and pears on the palate. A nice underlying backbone of acid that doesn't get in the way of everything else. Lingers on the palate for a very long time. Well integrated and harmonious. Drink now to 2009. 93 points

Had this as part of a three chardonnay tasting against a Domaine d'Auvenay and a Ramonet (see notes in the Burgundy section). I had this wine second as did two other tasters. The other three tasters had it first.

My notes basically agree with below, although I think I was probably a point too generous. I also picked up a nice earth and molasses component that I hadn't noticed before. 92 points
