| A to Z is a partnership of Bill and Deb Hatcher (formerly Domaine Drouhin), Sam Tannehill (formerly Archery Summit), and Cheryl Francis (formerly Chehalem) that acts as negociants in the Oregon wine market. They buy excess wine from a number of places and create a blend that generally provides excellent QPR.
Paid $100.80 for a case of this. Over the last few days I've had this with barbequed chicken and cedar-planked wild steelhead.
Very light yellow color, to the point of almost colorless. "Grass", melon, and green apple in the nose, followed by green apple, grapefruit, and melon on the palate. Well balanced, with a medium finish. I would like a little more concentration, but regardless, this is the best Oregon Pinot Gris I've had this year (I don't think this has been a stellar year for that wine up here). 88-9 points. For $8 a bottle, it's a pretty good deal. | | Heater Allen Brewing
