2006 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Canary Hill - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (8/12/2008)
WIML92

Tasted August 12, 2008. Purchased for $70.00 for a 375ml format off of a restaurant list.

Notes from memory. Decanted for about 30 minutes before serving. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of black berries, black cherries, plums and a bit of dustiness at the base. A little tight on the palate giving way to a mix of dark, rich fruits including black berries, plums, currants and maybe a little blueberry on this baby. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full body. Drink with a decant or hold.

NOTE: I must say I'm quite fasinated with the tasting notes and specifically the scores given this wine to date on CellarTracker. 67, 70, 82, 89, 90, 3 x 91, 2 x 92, 93, 94. (92 pts.)

Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.
