2005 Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (8/2/2008)
WIML90?
Tasted August 2, 2008 at a retail tasting.
Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Tight nose giving way to some notes of black berries, black cherries and black raspberries with a dash of red hills dirt. Flavors of Bing cherries, black berries and raspberries with a slightly earthy finish. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins. medium to full body. Decant if drinking now or continue to hold. Guessing around the WIML90 mark but this wine really is too young. (90 pts.)
