| - 1999 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Abbey Ridge Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (5/30/2008)
Medium
garnet color. somewhat cloudy. Cherries, lavendar, violets, just a
little funk in the nose. Sweet cherries and earthy cinnamon on the
palate, along with just a hint of the floral aspect. A seamless wine,
through the mid-palate all the way to the great finish. Compared to the
Cameron from the same vineyard, this wine was marginally less
concentrated and marginally less complex. Drink now. (91 pts.)
