Bright ruby, delicate nose of damp earth, baking spice, black cherry, boysenberry. Medium body, moderate complexity, medium acidity, low tannin and long length. Bitter, very bitter with dirty flavors, some leather, earth and wood spice. 81pts.

Jason, I noted your comment earlier on this wine. I've never heard of it - certainly not on my radar. I'm wondering if the bitterness comes from excess copper treatment (copper sulfate?) for reduction. I have noticed a little bitterness in the past with wines that received that treatment.

yes. have you, any tasting notes you'd like to share? your 1st post, with no real name (very creative by the way, sad user1 must have been taken already), lol'ing at things others wrote with nothing to contradict or otherwise substantiate any sort of argument otherwise. guess i have to ask what your connection to the vineyard, winery or winemaker are? if not, what other quality content do you have to offer today? Or this your one time drive by swipe?
