Terrific nose, showing nice depth with notes of earth, herbs, tart cherries, and cranberries. On the palate the is moderately tannic, with a beautiful core of pure sweet fruit with spice accents. Excellent balance & texture, with a long finish. Should be a good mid-term ager. 93 points.
