Tasted June 17, 2007 at the winery. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Spicy nose with some orange peel, anise, black currant and some jam notes. Flavors of black currants and jam. A bit viscous on the palate. Light to medium acidity and tannins, medium body. Drink or hold. (89 pts.)
