Tasted June 16, 2007. Opened and served immediately. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of burnt sugar up front that blew off to reveal dark fruits, berries and a touch of leather. Flavors of black cherries, black berries and black currants. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Fairly well balanced. Drink or hold. (91 pts.)
