Tasted June 15, 2007 at the tasting room in Carlton. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of black raspberries, black cherries and a bit if “jam”. Flavors of black raspberries and black cherries. Medium acidity, firm tannins, medium body. Hold for at least one year before trying again. (90 pts.)
