Tasted June 15, 2007 at the winery. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of black berries, dark plums, coffee, potpourri and smoke. Flavors of black berries and black cherries. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Hold for a year or two before trying again. 13.8% alcohol. (90 pts.)
